Love In Action

A Full service, emergency, safety net program that provides food distribution through the Outreach Food Pantry, emergency cash assistance for rent, utilities, first month's rent or security deposit (Which ever is less), temporary housing and mortgage assistance to prevent homelessness, cash assistance to pay for medical prescriptions for low and moderate income senior citizens and disabled individuals and children. A Financial Literacy Program includes seminar, Stabilizing your Finances, provided on a monthly basis, Free Tax Preparation and assistance in tax preparation services available during tax season.
Families in Healing
Provides a Positive Parenting Program and referral to counseling, seminars and protection for survivors and victims of domestic violence. Working in collaboration with the UBAME Medical Wellness Ministry, provide medical screenings. Working in collaboration with the Men’s Mentor Ministry of UBAME, provides mentoring to students and support services to the student’s family.
Helping Hands
A workforce development program provides job fairs, job readiness seminars, job couseling and job training for unemployed and under employed individuals. Training may be conducted at Bethel House or other appropriate locations.
